Tale Tailor Shipping Policy

At Tale Tailor, each product is handcrafted or customized with care. Whether you're ordering a heartfelt keepsake, party signage, or a full event package, we are committed to delivering your items in a timely, secure, and professional manner

1. Order Processing

• Orders are processed within 2–4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after payment is received.

• You will receive an email confirmation with tracking details once your order has shipped.

• Custom and personalized products (such as storybooks, blankets, or mugs with names/dates) may require additional processing time. Estimated production times are displayed on product pages.

2. Local Delivery (GTA)

We are pleased to offer local delivery for customers within [X km/miles radius or list of postal codes] of [Your City].

• Flat Rate: $5.00 CAD per order

• Free Local Delivery: Orders over $50 CAD

• Deliveries are made within 2–4 business days after processing. You will receive an email or text notification when your order is on its way.

• Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery or that there is a safe place for drop-off. Tale Tailor is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery.

3. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order weight and destination. Below is a general guide:

Domestic (Canada)

• 0–500g → $6.95 CAD

• 501g–1kg → $9.95 CAD

• 1.01–2kg → $14.95 CAD

• 2.01–5kg → $19.95 CAD

• 5kg+ → Carrier-calculated

Estimated delivery: 3–9 business days depending on location.

United States

• 0–500g → $9.95 CAD

• 501g–1kg → $14.95 CAD

• 1.01–2kg → $21.95 CAD

• 2.01–5kg → $29.95 CAD

• 5kg+ → Carrier-calculated

Estimated delivery: 5–12 business days depending on location.

Europe & UK

• 0–500g → $14.95 CAD

• 501g–1kg → $24.95 CAD

• 1.01–2kg → $34.95 CAD

• 2.01–5kg → $49.95 CAD

• 5kg+ → Carrier-calculated

Estimated delivery: 7–15 business days.

Note: Flat-rate Europe & UK shipping applies to most destinations. Remote territories (e.g., Canary Islands, Faroe Islands, Greenland) may require additional fees.

Australia & New Zealand

• 0–500g → $16.95 CAD

• 501g–1kg → $27.95 CAD

• 1.01–2kg → $39.95 CAD

• 2.01–5kg → $59.95 CAD

• 5kg+ → Carrier-calculated

Estimated delivery: 10–20 business days.

Rest of World

• 0–500g → $18.95 CAD

• 501g–1kg → $29.95 CAD

• 1.01–2kg → $44.95 CAD

• 2.01–5kg → $69.95 CAD

• 5kg+ → Carrier-calculated

Estimated delivery: 10–25 business days depending on location.

4. Free Shipping

• Canada: Free standard shipping on orders over $100 CAD.

• International: Free standard shipping on orders over $150 CAD.

5. Digital Products

Digital items (ebooks, invitations, planners, printables, etc.) are delivered instantly via email at no cost. No shipping fees apply.

6. Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

Customers outside Canada are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their local government. Tale Tailor is not responsible for delays caused by customs.

7. Shipping Restrictions

• We do not ship to P.O. boxes in certain countries due to courier limitations.

• Some oversized products (e.g., signage, large event items) may require special shipping quotes. You will be contacted if this applies to your order.

8. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Orders

• Once a package has been handed to the carrier, delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

• Tale Tailor is not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs, or incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.

• If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

• For lost packages, we will assist in filing a claim with the carrier. Refunds or replacements will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
